Our
Pastor
Pastor David D. Lee is an Atlanta native. Though he grew up going
to church with his family, it was at a retreat in 1992 that he fully committed to walking with Christ. “I was
halfway into church and halfway into the world, and I was tired
of it.” God blessed him immensely during his college years
at the University of Texas, and David sensed a calling to ministry.
“I felt God challenging me to use all I have directly
for His ministry in the church.”
From 1996 to 1998, he taught in schools and served in various roles for missions and churches in Canada, Korea, and Atlanta. He matriculated to graduate studies at Covenant Seminary in St. Louis and served on staff at the Korean Presbyterian Church of St. Louis. Upon graduation in 2001, he returned home to Atlanta, serving for one year at NCA as Assistant Pastor from 2001-2002. He was ordained as a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. He returned to NCA in 2005 to become our second English Ministry pastor.
David is married to Sonia and they welcomed their daughter Sophia to the family in October of 2005. Derek joined the family in February 2008.
